# Source and dependency notices

**PMF specification, calculation code and page: Draft specification; licence pending.** Publication for inspection is not an unrestricted reuse grant. A later milestone must choose and apply a code/specification licence. No vendor affiliation or provider endorsement is implied.

## WSV PEGELONLINE

[Terms](https://www.pegelonline.wsv.de/gast/nutzungsbedingungen) and [DL-DE-Zero-2.0](https://www.govdata.de/dl-de/zero-2-0) permit free commercial use, modification and redistribution. Raw archive downloads include source notices; these remain in the reference ZIP. Gauge data have no accuracy, completeness or availability guarantee. Station metadata and original retrieval checksums are retained.

## CAL FIRE

[Conditions of use](https://www.fire.ca.gov/conditions-of-use), reviewed September 27, 2026, state government website information is generally public domain unless indicated otherwise and distinguish third-party copyrighted material. This package reproduces numerical government statistics with source attribution. The PDF reports and their unreviewed photos/artwork are excluded from public downloads; frozen PDFs are retained in the research workspace, and original official URLs and checksums allow verification. No third-party vendor dataset is included. Data permission is distinct from PMF's pending licence.

## Wildfire bond comparison

The California case study links to an [Aon capital-markets report](https://assets.aon.com/-/media/files/aon/reports/2026/rmd-jan-2026-report.pdf) for the completed Golden Bear placement. The public page does not reproduce that PDF, the underlying proprietary catastrophe model, or Artemis deal-directory data. A numerical modeled insured-loss risk found in a regulatory filing traces to the restricted Artemis directory, so the page omits it. The bond's insured-loss measure is not an input to the CAL FIRE structure-count history, ladder, historical-frequency line or simulated prices.

## Browser dependencies and assets

The runtime bundles PMF's own TypeScript plus Zod (MIT); its complete licence is included at `../assets/Zod-LICENSE.txt` alongside the public page. Build tools include esbuild and TypeScript (MIT / Apache-2.0 respectively), tsx (MIT), and Vitest (MIT); Express (MIT) is for local preview only. No third-party report runtime is used. PMF brand assets remain subject to PMF rights and are not offered under a new licence. This app uses system fonts and PMF’s existing UnifrakturMaguntia webfont (SIL Open Font License 1.1). The unmodified font and complete copyright/licence notice are included at `../assets/UnifrakturMaguntia.woff2` and `../assets/UnifrakturMaguntia-OFL.txt`. It contains no external photographs. Revisit all source, dependency and trademark notices before granting a redistribution licence.

## Federal Reserve research figure

The overview includes the original embedded Figure 1 from Diercks, Katz and Wright, *Kalshi and the Rise of Macro Markets*, FEDS 2026-010 (February 12, 2026). The [Board's website policy](https://www.federalreserve.gov/disclaimer.htm) permits attributed reuse unless otherwise indicated. No separate rights marking appears on Figure 1. The [figure notice](../assets/fed-rate-forecast-NOTICE.md) documents the review and the paper's request about publication references to preliminary work; no author clearance or endorsement is claimed. The [source record](../assets/fed-rate-forecast-source.json) identifies the frozen PDF and extracted image hashes. Only the published chart is included; the PDF, logos and underlying licensed market datasets are not redistributed. This source-specific permission does not change PMF's pending licence.
